We are pleased to be part of Prof. Arkers Wong (School of Nursing, HK PolyU) on a research project focusing on carers of elders who go out less than once a week. This study aims to understand the challenges faced by these carers and provide professional support to improve both their well-being and that of the elders they care for.

A key feature of this program is virtual check-ins, where a team of nurses, Chinese Doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists regularly connect with carers to answer their questions and offer expert guidance. By providing timely support, we hope to alleviate caregiving stress and enhance elder care quality.

The research aims to develop effective interventions that promote better health outcomes for both elders and their carers. We look forward to continuing our work with academic and community partners to provide evidence-based support for elder care.
